Worship Department
The first recording of Worship is with Cain and Abel. Abel’s offering was accepted, while Cain’s was not. God called each of us to be a worshipper, in Spirit and truth. He has never varied from that idea. He is still seeking men, women, boys, and girls to worship Him, being seekers of truth, and to desire with all that is in them to be in His presence.

If one stands and lifts up a voice or hands, it does not necessarily mean that in the heart is a worshipper. It is completely and totally a heart matter. In worship today, one should ask the question, “Is my worship being accepted?” No one should get angry at God,  as Cain did, because their worship is not accepted.

True worship gives each one the truth of God; God’s blessings of peace, joy and growth; a heart after God and the honor of His presence, plus so many more blessings too numerous to list. What a truly awesome and mighty God we serve that always gives to seekers and the worshippers, in abundance, more than can be asked or thought.

The Praise and Worship team members at Jesus Is Lord Church are people who love God and worship in Spirit and truth. They also have the glorious opportunity and responsibility of leading the congregation into the very throne room of God and His presence. Believe me when I say that this is a humbling and an awesome privilege that is not taken lightly.

God longs for each person to be a worshipper in Spirit and truth, men and women seeking His heart, His truth and His way.  Come and be a part.
